95/351 : Maugus,  Wellesley, MA.  Always boggles my mind when a place has raving reviews. Service was lame. Had to ask for coffee refill, even sitting at the counter. Food is lousy. Homefries are dry and have an odd taste that I don't even know how to describe. The hollandaise is overly lemony. "Texas" French toast is far from being Big. And who in their right mind thinks it's ok to have ice cold syrup? It literally took 30+ seconds to pour. People let sentiment for family businesses to cloud an honest judgement.

"Nay! "

94/351: Wicked Oyster; Wellfleet, MA. Coffee good enough to drink black. Eggs Florentine with fresh baby spinach, very rare, with a Hollandaise sauce that was different than norm, but, decent. Homefries were slightly mushy, yet, correct red bliss potatoes and an interesting, good taste. I witnessed an order of French toast go by, so, had to try it. Nicely done, thick brioche style that came with SOFT butter!! Boggle my mind when restaurants serve cold, hard butter for any meal.

My quibble is with the upcharge for Maple syrup. Places need to figure out a way to distribute any cost impact across their menu. They don't have to give it out as the standard, however, it should be a FREE option.

"Yay!"
93/351: 3 Squares; Needham, MA. An extra large cup of coffee is a bonus.  Got the Irish bene since I had read on Yelp about "homemade" hash. No,  afraid not.  Hollandaise sauce was a little thick, without any strong bright taste. While the homefries are the correct style, chunk cut red bliss, definitely required salt.

Also witnessed another customer send their dish back.

Not worthy of returning.

92/351: Laura & Tony's, Eastham, MA: This place is so gross I should have walked out. But, I'm adventurous and wanted to taste the food.  Food is lousy, nothing worthwhile here.

Now,  about this shit hole.  First of all, it was chilly, they had windows open & the front door was a screen door. This was Saturday morning the weekend it had been raining & blowing with 50 degrees outside. You can imagine how the temperature effects the temp of the food that is out on the counter. They have a disgusting, old worn out red rug. The tables are a painted gray and beaten up. I literally wouldn't let my utensils touch the table.

ALL the buffet food are just laid out on a counter. No covers.   Only a couple warming trays.

Clearly Yelp! is filtering bad reviews. I didn't see any on the "front page". So,  look over other reviews similar to my complaints.

Run, run far away!  The $3 Mimosa isn't worth the grungy feel you'll be stuck with all day.

EDIT: I called Eastham Board of Health and voiced my concerns on Monday 10/5.

So, obviously it's a, "Huge Nay!"

91/351: Cafe Heaven, Provincetown, MA. Good coffee. Good homefries with large chunk red bliss potatoes. Lobster eggs Bene was just fair, due to bland Hollandaise sauce. Blueberry pancake was fluffy & chockfull of blueberries.
Seating is limited and I'm not sure the best place to park. I think I got away with parking illegally on the street across from the restaurant.

So, it's a "Yay".
