105/351: Sugar Magnolia's, Gloucester, MA: Really yummy food. Got pineapple fritters, Irish bene & Crazy Monkey French Toast. Homefries were decent, even if they weren't red bliss. Can also get adult specialty drinks. Plenty of cool items on the menu.

104/351: Dempsey's, Everett...  I wasn't expecting much, I was coming up to do brew tours in the area. Sometimes, greasy spoons can do a good job... not the case today.
Canned hash (as expected).. homefries were terrible, dried out, lightly fried, zero seasoning. "Texas" French toast was certainly not Texas sized, was dull, thin bread.

Cash only... Which I normally steer clear from, however, seemed like it was the only option at several places in Everett... This place does offer electronic payments through a phone app called "Level Up"... No thanks.

103/351: Theo's, Paxton, MA: Cute little place, nice service. Pretty good hash on the Irish eggs bene, the homefries were a tad dry and the "Texas" french toast is definitely NOT meeting the size that would earn it the Texas label.

Due to the dry homefries and false label of "Texas" FT...I have to say, "Nay."

102/351: Fiskdale (Sturbridge): Old Village Grille: Despite a couple ingredients that I typically frown upon (can hash, brown potatoes), today's food worked out well. It was the Boston Benny = hash omelette with American  cheese on croissant with a tasty, albeit thick hollandaise. The homefries were large chunk, yet, moist and hot. The French toast was more thick than most places.
Even though it was crowded, food was delivered very quickly, one of the fastest, actually.
I paid in cash from my recent tip $$, so I didn't try Samsung Pay.

101/351: Lou's Diner, Clinton, MA: To begin, I had wanted to eat in Berlin, MA. Unfortunately they do not have a breakfast place available. That makes 3 towns, so far, including Rochester & Mount Washington. I'm sure to come across other towns without an option.

So, today, I stopped into a "greasy spoon". I've had some pretty yummy food at other greasy spoons. Today was not my lucky day. Food was dull, homefries were literally tasteless. Food had as much personality as the grumpy Gus cook. With only enough seats for 18 people, at least they can't disappoint too many people at a time. Then again, I'm sure the locals don't mind lousy food.

100/351: The Mug'n Muffin, Monson, MA:Food delivery was quick, 5 minutes. Unfortunately that is the best feature. No eggs bene, so, I opted for a scramble: kielbasa, broccoli, mushrooms and cheese. The broccoli is the frozen type, yuck. Even though they offer to customize your homefries (onion, peppers, cheese) it's irrelevant, due to the base potatoes, small cubed brown potatoes with no taste. I got 1 piece of "Texas" French toast... one more fraud to add to the list. It's not the least bit thicker than standard bread. And one of the biggest errors is needing to flag down server for refill on coffee. Coffee is the lifeblood of breakfast, no matter where you eat, should Never have to ask for refills.

"Nay!"
99/351  Mom's Country Cafe, Egremont, MA:  I found a pretty good breakfast out in the Berkshires.  Eggs Florentine.. I asked to add Canadian bacon, no problem. Everything was cooked nicely. They even had red bliss homefries, which I prefer. And I had great view from my seat, big picture window over looking the woods.

98/351  Mel's Commonwealth Cafe,  Wayland: Canned hash,  dry brown potatoes homefries & still partially frozen strawberry slices. And, to top off the lame food, the old relic of a waitress was going to walk away without clearing my plates, when she brought the bill.

Big "Nay!"
